Washington, D.C. – Today, House Committee on Small Business Chairman Roger Williams (R-TX) announced that Congressman Wesley Hunt has been selected as the Chairman for the Subcommittee on Rural Development, Energy, and Supply Chains.
“Congressman Hunt understands the importance of American energy dominance,” said Chairman Williams. “With the energy sector under attack from the Biden Administration and supply chain disruptions continuing to impact many small businesses, he is the perfect Texan to lead the Subcommittee on Rural Development, Energy, and Supply Chains. I look forward to seeing him deliver results from his post for this committee and his constituents in Houston.”
Congressman Hunt released the following statement, “I am honored to be selected by the Chairman of Small Business, and fellow Texan, Representative Williams, to Chair the Subcommittee on Rural Development, Energy, and Supply Chains. Unleashing American Energy and repairing our supply chains are critical policies for the health and future growth of our country. The American people are relying on us to tackle these important issues that affect their every day lives. I’m excited to get to work.”
