Military Academy Nominations

As your Congressman, it is both an honor and a privilege to nominate outstanding young men and women to our nation’s esteemed service academies: U.S Military Academy (USMA, West Point, NY); the Naval Academy (USNA), Annapolis, MD; the Air Force Academy (USAFA), Colorado Springs, CO; and the Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA), Kings Point, NY. The fifth service academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USCGA), New London, CT, does not require a congressional nomination for appointment. These institutions cultivate the next generation of leaders, instilling values of discipline, integrity, and a commitment to service. By nominating candidates, I have the unique opportunity to support and recognize individuals who are ready to dedicate themselves to defending and serving our country; one of the most rewarding responsibilities I hold in office.
