Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Wesley Hunt voted in favor of H. Res. 5 – Adopting the Rules of the 118^th Congress.  This resolution ensures the People’s House operates in the fashion our Founders intended.

“After tonight’s vote, legislation will no longer abruptly sneak through the House, as Members now have 72 hours to read a bill before voting on it,” said Hunt.  COVID mandates and their funding have ceased immediately, and the Texas Border Plan will be put before Congress.  I am thrilled with the passage of this Rules package, and I look forward to working for the people of Texas’ 38^th Congressional District.”
