Rep. Wesley Hunt Supports SAVE Act To Strengthen Election Integrity | Judiciary Committee

On September 10th, 2024 Congressman Wesley Hunt proudly supported the SAVE Act. This bill is intended to strengthen election integrity by closing gaps in federal law that allow non-citizens to potentially register or vote in federal elections. 

The bill would require documentary proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote, reinforce existing prohibitions on non-citizen voting, and provide clearer standards for states to verify eligibility.
